Tiktok will be likely selling 50%. Knowing Polymarket: "A public announcement of the intention to sell TikTok will qualify even if a sale has not been finalized. This includes any formal declaration made by ByteDance or its authorized representatives regarding their plans to sell or transfer ownership of TikTok." Since it doesnt specify that it has to be a 100% ownership not just partial ownership it would resolve this market to yes.

As a Chinese person, half of TK's assets are Chinese enterprises. Even if he doesn't sell TK under pressure from the Chinese government, it's impossible. Businessmen pursue profits. If they sell TK, they will surely sell the algorithm. Then the American Internet company will copy his model and instantly take all the markets except China into account. So whether it's a company or a national government, the likelihood of TK being sold is always 0

Poorly written market. It's possible that a ByteDance representative could announce a general intention to sell without the requisite steps to sell being taken (including allowing the export of TikTok's algorithm from ByteDance's physical and technical control in China). An actual sale should be priced at something like 3 to 5 cents, but this market could very well be resolved yes without an actual sale even coming close.

I am Chinese and I know my government well. It will never be sold, our country has relevant laws that do not allow such software to be sold to other countries. And ByteHop is taking a strong stance and intends to stop its services in the US.

American Tech Companies are banned in China. So USA decided to act the same way. There is no way to sell. They countries are both superpowers. None of them will step back. If tiktok will be sold then USA might start asking to buy other tech companies like Tencent etc. Forget it, tiktok will not be sold directly. They might go on IPO, like other Chinese tech giants
