Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake (AKD) and Mr. Sajith Premadasa are likely to have close competition in this election. Most people aged 50 to 80 will likely vote for Sajith Premadasa. However, the current social media trends, those seeking change, and those who view current politicians as corrupt will likely vote for Anura Kumara. Neither candidate is likely to secure 51% of the vote in the first round, leading to a second round of voting. I believe Anura Kumara has the momentum to become the next president.
