Usatîi supported Maia back in 2020 presidential election which was detrimental to his political career, he lost a lot of voters, and will not repeat this mistake again, also his full time dedication last 2 years was to criticise Sandu. Most likely he will support no one or Stoianoglo, in both cases the latter has to win from that, since Stoianoglo neutrality rhetoric in line with Usatii's . As a little side note there was a referendum for EU integration in the same day and all Maia supporters already went to vote since this a core value of her electorate, and there is no way she can get extra votes . No candidate with significant odds will support her. Furtuna aka Sor's spoiler will rally her voters for Stoinoglo, and Sor will try corrupt as much voters as possible against Maia. With Usatii in standby and Furtuna/ Sor for Stoianoglo, the rally seems decided. Not to mentioned the latest xenophobic comments from PAS influencers , that a gagauz will never become the president and Stefan the great will die in his grave again if that becomes true, will rally even more ethnical minority voters against Sandu.

Ion Chicu, who got 2% in the first round and is one of the few pro-EU candidates to be eliminated, called his supporters to vote against Sandu

The main factor is how Usatîi voters will vote, and they specifically didn’t pick Dodon again because of the personal beef the two had

The chances here are more inline with 90/10 or 80/20 then 50/50, despite some people here trying to convince you otherwise. She got more then 40%, but lower then what was expected. Do you think this makes turnout of her supporters less or more? This is basically if Trump v Hillary had a second round. People who stayed off the couch would then of course vote for their candidate who they falsely thought would win easily...
