fed got caught with its pants down after decreasing the rate prematurely. there was higher than expected inflation, a good jobs report, and wall street continuing to outperform. absolutely no reason to reduce rates further. if the fed wanted to exercise some responsibility for once, it would increase rates to reduce the severe ass raping americans are experiencing at the hand of inflation
