How many SpaceX Starship launches reach space in 2024?

It's unlikely that IFT-6 will launch in 2024 due to several compounding factors. Historically, SpaceX takes 2-3 months between test flights, and with IFT-5 having launched in mid-October, that already sets a tight window for IFT-6. Adding to this, Starbase is currently facing overcrowding, with too many boosters being stacked simultaneously, which slows down production and assembly timelines. The Orbital Launch Mount (OLM), crucial for static fire tests, also requires significant repairs due to damage sustained in IFT-5, including rusting pipes and damaged Booster Quick Disconnect components. On top of that, the holiday season is approaching, which traditionally slows operations further. Even if SpaceX manages to complete repairs, conduct the necessary cryogenic and static fire tests, and resolve any unexpected issues, the likelihood of launching before 2025 remains slim given these logistical and technical issues
