No, in German history it usually took 20 days from the time of the vote to disolve the Bundestag.

It is a long shot, but why would they go through all the trouble of getting rid of Biden to pick someone who has even worse chances of beating Trump? Him being the runner-up would give them a nice excuse and I think he can be build up.

Dean Philiips came in second after Biden in the Primary so choosing him would be the most democratic process. He was among the first to openly express concerns about Bidens age and declining health while Harris kept quiet about it and comes across as very insincere and is polling even worse than Biden. In elections white male candidates have generally appealed to a wider audience potentially helping secure swing states and crucial electoral votes. They could keep Kamala as Vice President. Also Dean Phillips has a reputation for working across party lines and could help bridge divides possibly even attracting voters who lean towards Trump. At 54 years old he offers a nice youthfull contrast to Biden.
