Why do people keep talking about how "oh they're starting peace talks". Ok. And? They've had numerous peace talks throughout the course of the war, all of them ending in failure because Russia want's complete capitulation and Ukraine want's it's post-war borders. The two sides can not come to any conclusion, the only way this ends is if Trump throws Ukraine under the bus which he won't do because it will make him look weak. Ukraine won't even want a temporary ceasefire because that just gives Russia time to recuperate and organise it's forces to start a fresh assault when the peace talks fall through. It's never going to happen.

Why do people keep talking about how "oh they're starting peace talks". Ok. And? They've had numerous peace talks throughout the course of the war, all of them ending in failure because Russia want's complete capitulation and Ukraine want's it's post-war borders. The two sides can not come to any conclusion, the only way this ends is if Trump throws Ukraine under the bus which he won't do because it will make him look weak. Ukraine won't even want a temporary ceasefire because that just gives Russia time to recuperate and organise it's forces to start a fresh assault when the peace talks fall through.
