Fox literally recanted their statement of Iraq in the article. If this resolves “Yes” because NYT didn’t act as quickly that’s sickening

Many credible news outlets (BBC, CNN, etc.) have come out with articles about “what we know” about the Israel strikes and have listed out what has been attacked based on government intel and satellite imagery. NONE have said Iraq was attacked. The only articles come from the early reports of explosion sounds in Iraq that were later clarified to be in the Iran regions across the border. Polymarket should immediately take down their statement.

This is frankly ridiculous that Polymarket put a statement out on this when there isn’t a consensus. Damage recon is still being done. There was early reporting that there was bombing in Iraq but they just heard it from over the border. Since then no one has said Iraq was attacked. At the very least the market shouldn’t resolve until the damage recon is done. You literally cannot find anything mentioning that Iraq was struck after the early reports that were later dismissed. Don’t you think all the reports talking about Israel launching from Iraq would contain word about how they hit Iraq as well? Where there are none. This is a terrible precedent to set if they close out the market early before it’s truly determined.

This is obviously not a “consensus of credible reporting” considering there are credible sources saying otherwise. If this is what consensus means I don’t have hope for this resolution system in the future.

Rule state "Resolve to "Yes" if Israel initiates a military action on Iraqi soil, airspace, or maritime territory". I've only read report about military action against Iran potentially from Iraq airspace. Does it count as an attack to Iraq?

Iraq denied it, Israel didn’t say it happened, there’s no media consensus, obviously it can’t be resolved to “Yes”
