So many people are so quick to dunk on people who lost their money. And like I get that there was a lot of gloating from both sides, but there were plenty of people who genuinely believed in what they were betting on. I read the polymarket clarification, and saw all of the news articles, but I genuinely believed that didn't hold up in accordance with the rules of this bet. Obviously that faith was misplaced, but I still do believe the wrong call was made. Now I'm sure there will be people clowning on me when they see I lost $1000, and that's fine, that's your right. However, also keep in mind that some of us are just normal people. I had some money that I made off of xrp and instead of withdrawing it, I decided to try and invest it in this market. I'm tired of watching my wife and I bust our butts day in and day out only to never improve financially, and I just wanted to give her a better life. Now I'm sure most of you don't care at all about my "sob" story, and 1k is chump change to a lot of you, but just keep in mind when you're gloating that despite you thinking the people on the no side deserve it (especially to the ones who were fighting against you in the comments), that there were plenty of normal people who just wanted a win for once
