Keep in mind this is the best case for “YES”. Israeli troops have a day and a half to conduct a convincing offensive for there to be any chance at all. There’s less than 36 hours until a “NO” resolution can and will be proposed, the best case scenario then will be a “YES” dispute after the fact. Only problem is that the YES disputers will be on the back foot and have to argue a technicially in the wording to UMA, and we’ve all seen countless times that markets don’t resolve on technicalities. I have little confidence in UMA, so this doesn't matter, but my reading was that for Yes to win, the rule writers meant to require the Israelis not just to cross the border (say on a raid or something), but to cross the border, take some real estate, then stay there and defend it (I dk: dig in, establish a defensive perimeter, basically turn and fight on the defensive). Anyway, that's my two cents on the intention of the rules. Unfortunately, UMA doesn't care what the rules intend; or rather, sometimes they do and sometimes they don't and good luck knowing which kind of market you're currently trading in.
