I agree that the 2016 debate was a disaster for Kamala, but she can have another chance to prove herself, and Trump is afraid of giving her another chance. Otherwise, why would he be refusing to commit to a debate? He says she needs to be the nominee first, but after she is the nominee he will still delay, delay, delay to see if he can avoid the debate. Floor will fall out of this market by august 15th when it will be over a week since she's the official nominee but he still refuses to debate because "it's not actually official, the convention hasn't happened yet". Then, the floor will fall out again after the DNC when Kamala is super-duper-officially the candidate and Trump still wont say yes 100%. He's going to whine and complain about it the whole way there, even if he eventually decides to go.
