This market, however, was created for a possibility of an Israeli army invading Lebanon (think infantry and tanks, not a 3-hour overnight raids by small special ops teams). As per all the evidence, footage, geolocated imagery, and detailed reports - small numbers of tanks and infantry entered Lebanon first on Oct 2. That's why this market should've resolved No, and it did. Rather than complaining, I'd suggest taking a step back, and integrating possible learnings from this experience, especially around taking news headlines as a measure of what happened on the ground.

The addition context is an absolute joke "As seen during the debate, there was a policy of muting a candidate's microphone while the other was speaking, regardless of specific instances where both candidates were allowed to speak unmuted." There was nowhere mentioned that the bet is based of a policy or rule, not even mentioning those words, or words with the same meaning. The bet stated that the bet get resolved based on if the candidates are muted specifically while the other candidate is speaking *during* the ABC-hosted presidential debate

What is hard to understand here? "This market will resolve to "Yes" if the microphones of the candidates are muted specifically while the other candidate is speaking during the ABC-hosted presidential debate, currently scheduled for September 10, 2024. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." Both candidates spoke simultaneously at least once, hence why it should resolve no. It is very clear, the bet was not based on any "mute-rule". If the market resolves yes, this platform has absolutely lost any credibility. If you look at this objectively, resolving 50/50 is also not fair

its def worded odd, because the question is "Microphones muted during debate?" and I would say there wasn't many instances where the other person was talking and you could tell they were muted, i would say it was an equal amount of them letting them speak unmuted and leaving it muted.
