To Yes holders: there is a very heated and robust debate going on in UMA Discord. A strong case can be made for either side. You guys are picking pennies in front of a steamroller by not exiting your Yes positions now.

Don't then. Google what are the top local news sources in Iraq. You will find that it is the Iraqi News Agency. Go to their website and you will find the article i've linked.

Mind you, this is THE news agency in Iraq. Denying their report is kinda like denying a report made by NYT on what's happening in New York.

https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/article-826158 - "No Iraqi military, economic or civilian facilities were affected during Israel's Saturday morning strikes on neighboring Iran, the Iraqi state news agency cited a security source as saying."

Remember my fellow monkies, the only way for a resolution to 'Yes' is if the attack is officially acknowledged by the Israeli government or there is a CONSENSUS of credible reporting (there isn't). The resolution criteria is not the NYT or WSJ saying there is an attack.

Yes holders may argue that Iraqi sources are biased but w/o satellite imagery or any statement from the US, Iranian, Israeli state agencies, local on the ground sources like Iraqi security sources are the best you can get.

Until there is conclusive satellite imagery - I do not think there is a case to be made for a "consensus of credible reporting" that the attack happened.

the are 2 sources of truth: satellite imagery (not available currently) or reports from local officials (who currently state that no attack happened)

"Explosions were also reported in Basra, Iraq, while there was a temporary closure of Iraqi airspace; officials later said the blasts happened across the border in Iran."

There is no "consensus of credible reporting". Aljazeera reported that the blasts happened in Iran (not Iraq) https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/10/26/israel-strikes-iran-what-we-know-so-far-and-whats-next. This contradicts NYT.

Brothers, Israel's plate is full right now with attacking Iran. You seriously think they would initiate another attack on Iraq in the next 6 days? Pretty sure some Yes buyers here misread Iraq for Iran. Retardio.
