The formal endorsement from Gavin Newsom which was resolved to a Yes also look similar to the one that Bernie Posted on X. I cant see how this wont be seen as a formal endorsement when a resolution is posted.

I've been watching an unhealthy amount of recent Bernie interviews the past few days, making sure I didn't miss any nuance, and I noticed that Bernie said in his interview with Anderson Cooper on CNN the same thing he said in his tweet and Portland rally that many people have been taking for an endorsement: https://youtu.be/RVtX9ri5V7I?si=IfOwKPb-28bRpYQa&t=158 On responding to Cooper's question of what it would take for Bernie to endorse her, Bernie says, amongst other things: "When we talk about the future of the planet and climate change, **we have to make sure that we elect the Vice President.**" In his tweet he says "We must... ...elect VP @KamalaHarris". In ALL his interviews, he's asked about his lack of endorsement, and he explains his reasoning every time. Nothing has changed.

Do we think it will start and end on the 1st? Looking at this: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/dnc-virtual-roll-call-2024-how-it-works/ "Party leaders announced Tuesday night that delegates will be able to vote electronically beginning at 9 a.m. ET on Thursday, Aug. 1. The voting will conclude at 6 p.m. ET on Monday, Aug. 5."

We have a clear formal of Harris by Sanders. ---- 1. The Rules do not require that Sanders uses the word "endorsemen" they require that he endorses the candidate. Which he has done and which is described and depicted in the comments in detail. ---- 2. He has clearly stated that he is supporting her to the fullest and will do anything he can to get her elected. ---- 3. He clarified that he does not accept any distinction between his support and a formal endorsement and especially the term "endorsement". Therefore, since he rejects any difference, he is, in fact, endorsing her. ---- 4. This clearly constitutes an endorsement according to the Cambridge dictionary, as well as a "political endorsement" according to the Quarterly Journal of Political Science.
