I think I fucked up on this one. Initial preview numbers are looking like ~6.5M. I feel like that would mean I would need to see 7.5, or more likely 8M in previews for walk-up sales to do what needs to be done. That being said, the tracking In premium formats looks promising, and 45-47M seems like the promising place this weekend will land. I'm not saying the ship has sailed just yet, but I don't feel good about my prediction at all. But I am humbled after last weekend's results following my model easily.

Aliens is one of my favortie however ya it looks bad , also no film this august weekend has made more than 44 m a weekend in the past 3 years... so i wonder if people dont know how to read greater than or less than signs. I would be shocked if it was more than 44 million

I was correct the last 2 box office weekends. I’m not here for rug pulling. Just giving my thoughts and analysis. I’ll sell if/when it becomes unachievable in my eyes. You can do things however you’d like.

Why are people so sure it won't be 44-50? If it had 6.5 i previews and 18 on friday, it only needs to 9.75 on saturday and sunday, which seems very plausible looking at numbers for other movies this year.
