Depending on state laws, some states will count mail or same day first. There is an ideological divide between those who vote same day or early/mail. What you saw tonight is vote cast by mail counted prior to poll closing dropping first. That's the most moderate group of voters in a GOP primary. Same day votes Trumpy.
