Is it possible that Trump calling for an end to the war publicly is the best sign that the negotiation will likely take much longer than 90 days? i.e. if he knows it'll take a long time (if it happens at all) then he'd want to say something publicly to his base to get ahead of the inevitable narrative that it's his fault the war is continuing
