Russia ran out of cannon fodder to sent they had to bring in the army of North Koreans to help them. That's not a sign of someone that is winning

Is there any evidence that either side is desperate to end it in the specified timeframe? If not, then given the geopolitical stakes of the negotiation (especially from US + Russia) , wouldn't that imply prolonged negotiations as that would enable all sides to flesh out their requests and consider all the possible combinations of concessions each side is willing to make
