if there is a war Ukraine will gladly let NATO come through its territory and march to Moscow, if Russia actually wanted a buffer zone they would have taken northern Ukraine that is actually close to Moscow

Ukraine holds less than 0.5% of Russian land mass. Russia has taken 18-20% of the land Ukraine owned. The east is now Russian, forever. How do you negotiate for land swaps when you hold nothing of value? Ukraine are acting delusional, good luck getting Crimea back.
