if you think it's possible for him to tie in the poll, then you have to think it's possible for him to win the poll, or you just don't know how polling/probability works.

Walz will not win but he might draw in which case it's 50/50. That's the value proposition for buying Walz right now. And it's not silly at 30 cents, it probably is at 40 cents.
