It's not about making mistake it's about owning up to them. Totalitarian states never admit making mistakes. If mistakes happens they'll accuse external causes. It's always like that. Where I'm not sure however is that if they're going to specifically accuse Israel or maybe a different scapegoat. Israel is pretty trending ngl
