They didn't walk anything back. Reporting what some conspiracy theorists are saying =/= walking it back. They also interviewed the Kate lookalike who said it wasn't her in the video. You're correct that the crown won't comment on the video though.

It's definitely not Kate, TMZ walked it back already, but I doubt the crown will acknowledge it
